Today is my start

Okay, so I was working out before the 100 days and stopped after it started. Today, I am going running on the west side greenway with some co-workers. It is supposed to be 50 degrees outside. I'll let you know how I do. If only playing wii tennis burned calories.

Update: We ran 3.5 miles in 45 minutes which isn't too bad. We took a little break half way. I saw Natalie Portman so maybe star sighting could be incentive to run. By the way, I had apple pie for breakfast.

Return of the Blogger

It's true that I began this blog & quickly disappeared. How can I explain my twisted psychology? Before 100-day challenge .... pounds were coming off. After 100-day challenge .... cookies every day. How could I blog about that??

Well, ladies... I may have turned a corner. But not before I hit bottom. There I was on Thursday, just an hour after finishing a second helping of lasagna, I found myself halfway through a cookie, which was - no lie - the size of my face. I felt helpless. Alone. Surrounded by nothing but a big tummy roll. And, still, I finished that cookie.

But everything changed yesterday. For the first time during the length of this challenge, I said "no" to a brownie. I feel good. I feel strong. Ladies, I'm back! Because you know what? This challenge is about more than looking good in a white dress. It's about looking good in a bathing suit, too.
